'Plain' Powder Flask


This is called a "Plain" design because of the absence of any panel or pattern on the body of the flask.
Patent top (internal spring), screw-off, 4-setting adjustable charger (2 to 2-3/4 drams).
Copper bag-type body (~6" x ~3-1/4" x ~1-1/4") without hanger ringlets; heavy brass top.
Top face is stamped JAMES DIXON / & SONS / SHEFFIELD on upper half, while lower half is stamped IMPROVED / PATENT.
