Indian Khanda-Hilted Yataghan Saber,
(aka Rajput-Maratha Sosun Patta),
with Serrated Blade

Uniquely Indian, these sabers are of the early Indian style hilt classified as the Rajput Basket Hilt (aka Khanda Hilt). Notable features are the classic iron khanda hilt, heavy fighting guard, with pommel spike; re-curved or in-curved yataghan blade. This example has an unusual serrated-edge blade.
