Pedang Sabet, believed from Java

"Pedang, is another generic term used to describe a cutting or thrusting straight or slightly curved blade weapon. The Pedang Sabet is a slashing weapon. It has a wider blade with a cutting edge and a blunt back. The blade has an even width and is either straight or slightly convex on the cutting edge." These are found in various regions of Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Phillipines.
This example has a slightly down curving blade, ~24-3/4" long. Handle is believed to be a horn-like material, carved in the shape of perhaps some mythical monster.
Overall length is ~30".
