Indo-Persian Tulwar fighting sword, believed Southern India, believed to date circa mid-to-late-1800s. Brass hilt, unusual pommel - panther-head eating a rabbit-like animal.
Curved 27" blade, ~1-1/4 wide and ~1/8" thick at the hilt; unfullered. Plain blade with scattered light pitting overall.
Overall length ~31-1/4".
NOTE: No scabbard included with this sword.
Good condition.
