This is a US Model M5A1 Bayonet and Scabbard manufactured in West Germany (believed by Eickhorn). It is further believed these may have been the lot of bayonets sold to the government of Jean-Claude "Baby Doc" Duvalier of Haiti HMAK - Hærens Materiel Kommand (Army Materiel Command). Those were serial numbered, but I cannot find one on this bayonet (so it could have been another contract ro commercial sale). These were designed to be used on the post-Korean War era M1 Garand rifles and variants (also used by Denmark and other countries). The key identifying feature on these is that the grips are held in place by Phillips screws on one side, hex nuts on the other.
Ovaerall length in scabbard is ~12-5/8"; overall length out of scabbard is ~11-1/4"; blade length is ~6-1/2".
Blade is stamped, "GERMANY" on left ricasso; guard underside is stamped, "US M5A1"; scabbard is stamped on front, "US M8A1 / MADE IN W-GERMANY". Excellent overall condition.
