Percussion Half-stock Sporting Rifle, ~.32 caliber, manufactured circa 1840s to 1860s. Lock-plate is marked, R.B.". I can find no other markings except for dots a series of dots around the muzzle face. Nice "tiger-striping" in wood; pewter fore-end cap; brass furniture with patch-box; double-set-triggers.
Overall length is ~49-5/8"; barrel length is ~33-7/8", full octagonal.
Various minor stock dings, scratches, nothing major. Barrel retaining pin is missing from fore-end wood. Bore condition is unknown. Needs work but is a good representative example.
