Rare type of knife believed to originate in Kerala, India, located on the southwest shores of the Indian Ocean; very old. Grips appear to be brass. Less recurved style of blade on this example; T-backed in cross-section.
Overall length is ~11-1/4"; blade length is ~7-5/8". Width at ricasso is ~1-3/4". Sharp!
Condition is about fair. Rivet missing from ferrule (see images)
NOTE: No scabbard included with this dagger.
